Surah Al-Shams 91: Verses 7 & 8

And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it.

And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness.

Nabi
1) Messenger of news. 2) Speaks on the basis of Wahi (Divine revelation). 3) Leaves Earth after delivering Wahi.
Rasul
1) Messenger of news. 2) Speaks on the basis of Wahi (Divine revelation). 3) Leaves Earth after delivering Wahi. 4) They deliver with such support and conviction, that recipients are left with no excuses. Those who don’t accept, are punished.
The difference is when Allah SWT wants to decide, He sends a Rasul. Hence, point #4 above.

Surah Yunus 10: Verse 47

And for every nation is a messenger. So when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.

Surah Al-Nisa 165: Verse 4

[We sent] messengers as bringers of good tidings and warners so that mankind will have no argument against Allah after the messengers. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

Surah Yunus 10: Verse 46

And whether We show you some of what We promise them, [O Muhammad], or We take you in death, to Us is their return; then, [either way], Allah is a witness concerning what they are doing.

Surah Al-Ankabut 29: Verse V40

So each We seized for his sin; and among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those who were seized by the blast [from the sky], and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those whom We drowned. And Allah would not have wronged them, but it was they who were wronging themselves.

Surah Tawbah 9: Verse V14

Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people

Surah Al-Mujadela 58: Verses 20 & 21

Indeed, the ones who oppose Allah and His Messenger – those will be among the most humbled.

Allah has written, “I will surely overcome, I and My messengers.” Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

Surah Al-Noor 24: Verse 55

Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that – then those are the defiantly disobedient.

Surah Al-Anam 6: Verse 19

Say, “What thing is greatest in testimony?” Say, ” Allah is witness between me and you. And this Qur’an was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?” Say, “I will not testify [with you].” Say, “Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with Him].”

According to Javed Ahmad Ghamidi, Quran is the Sarguzasht-e-Inzaar (Historical account of the warning) of Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
